
Outdoor Dinosaur Dig Party Decorations
- “Welcome to the Dig Site” Sign
- Create a wooden or faux stone sign at the entrance saying:
“Welcome Paleontologists!” or “Jurassic Dig Site – Authorized Access Only!” - Add some toy dinosaurs or bones peeking out of the ground near the sign.
- Excavation Pit
- Set up a large sandbox or kiddie pool filled with sand. Bury plastic bones, dino eggs, and small dinosaur toys for the kids to dig up.

- Dinosaur Footprint Path
- Create a footprint path on the floor using construction paper leading to party areas or activity zones.
- Fossil Wall
- Tape up “fossils” (cutouts of bones or real plastic bones) on a dark brown background or kraft paper “cave wall.”
- Kids can even draw and color their own fossils to add!
